To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broken. If you want to be sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one - not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safely in the casket or the coffin of your selfishness. But, in that casket- safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, unredeemable. The only place outside heaven where you can be safe from all the dangers and perturbations of love, is hell.

Hiphop!

A couple of us were decked out as hiphoppers for our Culture Night dance item. The pictures are with Freda, so I've only got webcam pics to show off for now:

And one more in sepia:

Anyway I think it's time I got a new webcam. I've had this one for years and it's getting quite obsolete. The picture quality is terrible and nothing at all like the webcams I've seen at Sim Lim.

Why I should get a better webcam: because I camwhore all the time. I just don't post the incriminating pictures all the time. And here's the evidence:

Yes I know, I'm in love with myself. But who better to love, if not myself? And besides, camwhoring is great when you're bored.

The scary thing is, I actually have more tucked away in my computer. But that's it for today, because there is such a thing as too much of something, and I do know it, so count your blessings that the torture ends here.

Anyway, for those of you who were asking about the SKII masks that I bought a while back - yes, they've been certified to be the real deal. I quite liked how it felt and smelt so I'm ordering more. SKII Facial Whitening Mask for just $5 apiece!

This is despite the fact that I only just bought two other facial masks today. Watson's is having a sale, and the Lifecella Whitening Mask which normally retails for $13+ for a pack of 2 is only going for $3.90 (yes, for two!) now. I just tried it on and it feels pretty good so I think I'll get more and alternate it with the SKII mask.

Finally... the madness has begun. I was wondering how long it would take, and getting quite surprised too that it's been too peaceful around here. Say hi to my new annoying anonymous readers here.

I won't even bother replying individually because stupidity does not warrant an answer. All I have to say is, if I were writing about sex, you'd know it. I was talking about something emotional, and these guys saw it as something physical. For the benefit of those who might have misunderstood my analogy, here's what it really means:

The only parallel I can think of is when you hold your breath for a minute. The rush of sweet oxygen to the brain afterward is beyond exhilarating.

That, my dears, is how it feels to be deprived of something that means a lot to you, when it is once again yours. I'd lost him, and then when I'd been given a second chance, I learnt to treasure him more.

To end off, I feel compelled to express my heartfelt opinion that an unhealthy fixation with sex (especially that of others) is indicative of a repressed soul that needs to be properly emancipated. Thank you.

great that life has picked up for you again so quickly and that things are better now. :)

oh and those anonymouses are really quite dumb.

Hi!good to hear that u are all well again! btw, can i have the userid of the one selling at $5?the rest i search seems to be much higher!

BTW! How many have u used so far? Just wondering whether the effects are instantaneous so that i can decide to buy how many! :) thks sweetie

Hi gal, had been following your blog for awhile and had been enjoyng them. Love your gd command of english. Dont let those ppl who has nothing better to do bug you! Take care! =)

Sherrie: Thanks sweetie. Hey I lost your blog URL - if you don't mind me reading, could you email it to me at feine84@yahoo.com.sg or leave the link here? :)

Anon: SIGH he raised the prices! They're not $5 anymore. The cheapest on yahoo are all about $6 each now, but still a lot cheaper compared to the $19.90 that SaSa is selling the masks at. :) I've only used one, so I can't really tell, but my skin felt nicely moisturised and plump after using the mask. :)

Vicky: Thanks, really! That meant a lot to me. :D

Hi, may i know where can i get the SKII mask for 5 dollars per piece, thx :)

I'm afraid u wont be able to get them for 5 bucks anywhere. The cheapest is around $6, just do a search on yahoo auctions. Plenty of people selling them. :) It's the FACIAL WHITENING MASK. The facial treatment masks are more expensive.

this is the one that's more frequently updated. lots of silly ramblings and i think i update way too often. haha.

Nice blog! ;) Btw, how do you check if the masks are authentic?

You can go down to the SKII counter and ask. That's what we did.

one day after you told me abt clapbangkiss... she appears in national newspapers as the 'most beautiful blogger in sg'.

wat uncanny timing...

point is.. judging how youre posting pictures so indiscriminately, (and carefully selected may i add...... altho that i must admit, is wat everybody does) and knowing your narcissistic streak and your love of compliments; may i say that i hope you dun 'aspire' to achieve celeb blog status pls thankew very much.

vanity aka pride is one of the greatest sins my dear.

hey just wanna ask which seller do you get it from?can i have the url?btw i have beem reading ur blog it is intresting, don't care about those mean ppl.they are just sick.continue blogging.

hey ying,u know the difference between facial treatment mask + facial whitening mask?Saw someone selling @ 4 for $20. Btw the masks u verified as authentic, were they frm this seller : fsl*****? Worried that i might be cheated with fakes!

Ok the deal is that the Facial Whitening Masks are no longer sold in Singapore SKII counters, but they're still authentic - this is the info we got from the local counters. And SaSa is still selling it at $19.90, same price as the Facial Treatment Masks. The FTM and FWM are different, but I'm not at all certain how. :) The FWM is much cheaper on Yahoo though, maybe because it's discontinued stocks? But there's still a long way to go before the expiry date, so it's fine to use. :) Shucks I forgot which seller. I left my email in the page and the seller contacted me directly. But 4 for $20 sounds cheap. :)

Actually the username u mentioned does sound familiar. But I don't think he's selling at 4 for $20. He only gives discounts for bigger orders.

haha thanks so much for ur info! the 4 for $20 was for the facial treatment mask.. haha.. Anyway, keep writing, love reading ur blog!Like it tt its nt all on makeup(altho tts good too) but also abt ur bf + ur life.Recommend more books!

Hey Ying, If you are interested in still ordering the SKII mask. Do let me know. I really don't mind chipping in & share with you or something. Adessa/Renee :)

hey adessa, please email me at feine84@yahoo.com.sg :) It just so happens that I'm looking for someone to share 5 more masks with me, do LMK if you're keen.
