To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broken. If you want to be sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one - not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safely in the casket or the coffin of your selfishness. But, in that casket- safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, unredeemable. The only place outside heaven where you can be safe from all the dangers and perturbations of love, is hell.

Mind-numbing
It's crazy trying to tweak a template when you've got a headache and the flu.
I almost gave up on blogsome.com when I realised that its template customisation was really quite limited - that, plus the fact that it doesn't always let me use javascript. But then I spent the entire day looking for alternative hosts and nothing else was better. There's wordpress.com, as recommended by Pris, but it has limited themes and does not allow customisation at all so I scratched it off my list.
There are a couple of others too that you can check out if you're fine with using generic themes that can't be customised (much) - blogswith.us and theblog.cc are two of the better ones. I'm awaiting a reply from globbo.org which is by far the best of all the free wordpress-based hosts available. Will update if they reply!
Anyway I've just started working on a new design based on an existing theme offered by blogsome. Uploading new themes isn't an available option so the only thing I can do is to tweak a theme until I change it beyond recognition. It's going to look very different from the current layout I have here, but it's going to be very simple - there's no way I'm going to try anything ambitious with something so strange and new. :(

wow, u're going to start new blog? that's cool. :) hope u will still allow some of your faithful readers to view your entries! been reading yours faithfully from feine84 to faerylights. hehe.
Evon: it's not going to be entirely locked; only certain posts will be protected. :)
Pinkposh: Oops. It was almost 4am and I had a headache la. Must have read wrongly. I even thought u said blogsome was the one tt cldn't customise themes. Whoops.
sorry a bit OT here. i remember reading one of your entries that u bought some accessories from ASOS. may i know if they actually ship to singapore now? is there any way to order from them?
I think ASOS doesn't ship to Singapore, and it only accepts international credit cards. They changed their policy all of a sudden, so now you'll have to use a third party service to order from ASOS. Try vconcierge. I've heard some girls mentioning that, but I've never tried it myself. :)
