FUCKTARD
I received an sms from Jeffrey about a car show in January - $100 for six hours in a race queen outfit. Now obviously that's peanuts for the kind of job that I'm expected to do - you only have to refer to the Tomorrow.sg hoo-ha about girls working in IT shows to be aware of the downsides to this job. That's the reason why we're USUALLY paid well for the job: to make up for everything that we don't like about it.
So anyway I agreed to the job because money is money, and I don't think I'm in any position to be picky. Other people get paid more; I just have to work twice (or many times more) as hard to earn the same amount. But I thought I'd just voice out my concern, so I sent Jeffrey a reply saying:
ok. e budget's kinda low though...
And I immediately received this rude reply:
my senior girls did nt complaint abt the budget and you want to complaint. pls note that u r nt a senior girl or profesional. forget it i dont want to put u for the show. u better be humble if u want to survive in this competitive industry.
WTF? I wasn't even complaining; I was just telling him that I thought the budget was low, and at the same time hoping that something might be done about it. But the bottom line was I had said ok, I was willing to work for that amount, it would just be a bonus if it paid better.
Given this kinda boss, it's no wonder that I'd rather work for someone else.

hmmm, is he suffering from PMS or something? haha. i rememember u saying u wanted to terminate the contract but he managed to talk u round right? why not just terminate it and join better agency? seriously, jcm is really no biggie. u can get higher pay at more reputable ones!
woah didn't know Jeffrey Chung was like that. Hmmmm.... gut instincts tell me that he knows the budget was low but didn't have enough bargaining power to increase it and so became confrontational coz nobody likes to have an ego bashing. LOL
Linda and Ade: It's quite a hassle to terminate. It's obviously going to be very unpleasant, and the contract forbids me from working in this line for six months after termination, so I can't work for any other modelling company. Well I'm just making the best of it now I suppose. At least working for JCM gives me a relatively steady income. :/

Infusion: well Jeffrey stays in the business because he has the reputation of providing girls at the cheapest rates as well as providing girls who'll do anything. ugh.
Boss is always like that. If the senior girl complaint, i dun think he will reply as same as he msg to you.He will still call you to do show. JCM is lack of girls now...
Actually I think there's a new batch of girls so he can afford to be arrogant. They've been giving me jobs and cancelling at the last minute. I think they're screwing me over, but whatever.

well i'm in no position to comment... we can't compare jcm girls with other agencies or judge jcm girls because after all it's quite different. jcm isn't anywhere near professional modelling. nope i haven't been working much for jcm. didnt even watch star awards heh. who was the jcm girl?
Ya they're giving me jobs but I told them I dont wanna do jobs that involve bikini so they give me less jobs. Most of their jobs involve bikini anyway.
