To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broken. If you want to be sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one - not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safely in the casket or the coffin of your selfishness. But, in that casket- safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, unredeemable. The only place outside heaven where you can be safe from all the dangers and perturbations of love, is hell.

Photo Entry
Too sleepy to blog properly, so it's going to be mainly pictures today.
Today the boy and I went to town. Haven't been there in ages. Work doesn't count.
On a whim he suggested getting our caricatures done - fun!
Anyway, just a quick word about - Picasa. I can't believe I didn't start using this earlier - it's such a breeze to use for simple image editing and for creating collages. Of course, there's not a lot you can customise, but it's still a great shortcut alternative to Photoshop. Played with it a bit:
As you can see, I used the same three images but I couldn't tweak the layout. My only gripe so far.
On an utterly unrelated note, I finally restocked on my holy grail cleanser - MAC Green Gel Cleanser. I wasn't really intending to repurchase it because the price tag's a little hefty compared to drugstore products, but then the boy had shopping vouchers from his new credit cards and he shared the love. Off to wash my face and go to bed now. Photoshoot tomorrow!
