Miss Tropicana Preview
This is when we did our own makeup for Heat 1:
And this is when makeup artists from ZA came down for the Preview:
CANNOT STAND THE MAKEUP!
And it's not as if the makeup used was all that different. In fact, when I did my own makeup for the heat, I used the sponsored ZA products - foundation, eyeshadow, and eyeliner - together with my own KP/MAC/Dior cosmetics. But the makeup artist was way too heavy handed with her application and didn't seem to believe in blending. That's got to be one big factor for the ugly photos. Which you can see here:

roxydoll: Sigh yeah, stage makeup is like that. Looks godawful in real life, but photographs better. Still, blue eyeshadow with orange blush and red lips... -shudder- Anyway, the fun bit about Miss Tropicana is the dance performances and the contestants, I suppose - last week we had hot girls from JCM dancing (Hazeline and Esther, two of our best dancers, were there) and hot guys from goodness knows where were dancing to JT! And of course it's always fun to check out girls. :) But the music seriously sucks.
