Hello Pudding.
Pudding, aged approximately 4 months, is a male Winter White hamster mix of Pearl and Sapphire (mother - Pearl; father - Sapphire). He's a little shy now, but very tame, and it appears that he loves nothing better than to curl up in a corner and snooze the day away. He's a little fluffy, and more than a little chubby, but he's cute that way.
It was a toss-up between Pudding or Husky - though for a minute I entertained the thought of calling him Cookies and Cream, but that's just too much of a mouthful - but in the end I went for Pudding. He seemed more like a Pudding to me, even if it isn't exactly a macho enough name for a male hamster.
I'll still miss Wussy but I'm happy I've got Pudding now! You can see more pictures of him here.

My besties and i got ourselves 2 hamsters too, a few months back. A blackbear and a winterwhite named Bhumibol and Botox respectively. Haha. Cute little things. :)
Do you keep pudding in an aircon room?? His furcoat is in such a briliant white, which is characteristic of winterwhites in cold environment! Gorgeous.
Wussy was really special - She was a rare breed that the petstore called "Mottled", and each of these Mottled hamsters have a unique fur coat - in patterns of black, white, and grey. I paid $45 for her. Yikes.
Pudding is pretty special too, because he's got a Pearl mother and a Sapphire father, so his coat is different from pure Pearl or Sapphire Winter Whites. I've been assured that he'll stay this colour (predominantly white, with streaks of grey). I just got him today and my room doesn't have aircon, unlike the pet store, so hopefully he won't start turning a muddy shade.
Your hamsters sound adorable too! Almost all my neighbours in hall keep hamsters too. They're just such sweet little things, pretty low-maintenance to have. :)
Oh yes, i forgot you stay in hall. Sorry! Come to think of it, I actually stay quite near NUS, @West Coast!
Well we dont keep our botox and bhumibol in aircon room either. Even so, they'd kind of stink up the place if we leave the litter alone for a week. My besties and I are studying in different unis now, so we're alternating ownership of our fluffies every month. :)
Anyway, I've got to thank you. I think your blogskins are pretty special (quite unlike conventional skins): used the blingbling previously and this one now. Great designer you are! Thanx babe!
