To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broken. If you want to be sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one - not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements. Lock it up safely in the casket or the coffin of your selfishness. But, in that casket- safe, dark, motionless, airless, it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, unredeemable. The only place outside heaven where you can be safe from all the dangers and perturbations of love, is hell.

DROOL.
My current obsession - SALADS!
It all started last Saturday when I decided to be a good girl and increase my intake of vegetables. The poor boy's been nagging at me at this while for not eating enough greens, so I ordered a Chicken Salad at Burger King.
The moment I bit into the crisp lettuce leaves, I had a taste of heaven and there was no turning back. Mmm, the shredded Parmesan cheese! The plump baby tomatoes! The crunchy croutons! And then there was the grilled chicken... I was in absolute bliss.
Now I was thinking that perhaps all salads tasted this good, so I decided to try the KFC Oriental Salad on Sunday. BIG MISTAKE! First off - I hadn't realised the chicken was spicy, so I struggled to finish it. I wasn't a big fan of the dressing either. Give me Thousand Island any day. The mix of vegetables wasn't exactly palatable either. All in all, the salad just didn't go down well with me.
Then today, I tried the Caesar Salad at MOS Burger. EVEN WORSE THAN KFC! The vegetables weren't even fresh, and the dressing was just plain awful. What a waste of money. Never again. I left most of it untouched so I had to satisfy my salad craving elsewhere. And where else but...
Yep, you got that right. I'm sitting in Burger King now with a yummy serving of the Caesar Salad. I'm a happy camper now. And the icing on the cake? FREE WIRELESS INTERNET!
I had absolutely no idea. I switched on my laptop with the intention of poring over my philosophy lecture notes and I found myself connected to the internet, courtesy of Singnet. I think I'll just bring my laptop everywhere with me at this rate. There seems to be free wireless internet everywhere!
