omfg
i amaze myself sometimes with my sheer lunacy.
i was going to go to bed after that last entry where i tore my old layout to shreds. it would have been the sensible thing to do, since i have to wake up early to prepare breakfast for the committee before the meeting. instead, i did the unthinkable:
i stayed up all night to design a new layout.
when all i actually wanted to do was just play around with my new brushes. in the end, inspiration struck and with these things, once i get started i can't stop. i was all sleepy and woozy until the adrenalin hit me and i just went on and on and on.
i'll die later during meetings but it'll all be worth it. this is my best layout so far and the satisfaction derived from that little improvement is sweet beyond compare.

I forgot to add. I think I have the same habit as you. When I'm doing a layout, I'll get engrossed in it and no matter how tired I am I will just be so determined to finish it asap. So when I was coding my layout or designing whatever stuff it will go on till 1 or 2am... Until my mommy wakes up and says, "GO TO SLEEP RIGHT NOW". T_T. Ragh. At least you're not controlled by your mom! My mom always thinks that computer is chatting or whatsoever, when the truth is, most of the time I work on online fanfiction and blogskins. @_@
